Moving money for better

The brief

Full service project to organise and run WU’s first ever VIP customer event in the USA.

Recruit VIP customers in NYC and Miami, put them up in a hotel, take them to a sports game, shower them with thank you gifts, take them out to dinner.

Run a co-creation innovation/ research event in each city to: share the current value proposition, brainstorm new features, identify areas of improvement for the program.

What we did

Recruited 15 VIPs plus 15 guests together in each city to celebrate their enrolment to the VIP loyalty scheme, called My WU Plus. 

We created invites, booked hotels, organised flights for the client, booked the sports stadium, prepared small personal touches such as in room gifts and at-the-game gifts. 

We organised and ran the co-creation innovation research with customers and clients.

We took a professional photographer with us and also filmed the entire event.

The outcome

Delighted VIP customers who felt appreciated and rewarded by WU.

A clear roadmap for innovation for the Plus program going forward.

We provided a large toolkit of PR materials for the WU team to promote the Plus program with over 300 professional photos, as well as anecdotes from attendees.

We edited and delivered a summary movie for senior executives at WU to see the journey we took their customers on.

THIS INCLUDED RECRUITING CONSUMERS, FACILITATING THE INNOVATION EVENTS, ORGANISING GAME TICKETS AND VIP EVENING EVENTS.
